This beautiful sculpture-table combination was commissioned  to carry "Fathom", the shark sculpture seen on the home page.  It is built of heavy steel reclaimed sheetmetal and various reclaimed and antique metal pieces and took a lot of time to build with the extent of texturing and other details like suction cups on the octopus.  The octopus is built from 1/8" steel pieces, hammered into shape and welded together, then using a MIG welder, textured skin was added to each leg as well as the mantle and hood.   I am grateful to know this piece is united with it's brethren Great White shark in a beautiful home near Tampa on the river.
